Ten notes since April, newest first. Each one says what changed, who asked for it, and which roadmap entry it closes. If you asked for something and it is on this page, you already have an email about it.
The forecast used to show one figure per trip. It now shows the three lines it is built from, and you can override any of them for a specific client without changing the fuel rate for the whole fleet.
A statement covering a quarter was rejected with an unhelpful message about date ranges. Long statements now import, and rows already matched to a trip are skipped rather than duplicated.
Before you quote a trip, Payanam estimates what it will cost to run: diesel at the rate you last paid, tolls from the route's FASTag history, driver allowance from the roster, and a share of maintenance based on the vehicle's last twelve months. Quote against the forecast and the variance lands on the trip sheet when the trip closes.
Published rosters are sent to drivers as a WhatsApp message in the language they use in the app. Changes made after publishing send only the affected drivers a correction, not the whole sheet again.
Start, halt, load and unload events recorded without a signal are held on the handset and sent when the phone reconnects. This is the first half of the offline work; documents and photographs still need a connection.
The driver app now runs in Hindi and Kannada alongside Tamil and English. Drivers pick their language at first sign-in and can change it from the profile screen; rosters, alerts and trip sheets follow the choice.
Upload the monthly NHAI statement and every toll transaction is matched to the trip that was running at that plaza at that time. Unmatched rows go to a review list instead of being dropped, and matched tolls post to the client the trip was billed to.
Build a fortnight of duties from booked trips, licence classes and rest-hour rules, then publish it. Payanam flags a driver rostered inside eleven hours of the last trip and will not publish until it is resolved.
Readings photographed on some Android handsets were stored sideways, which made the automatic reading fail about a fifth of the time. Orientation is now read from the file, and the last three months of photographs have been corrected.
One page per trip carrying the load, the route, every halt, the documents and the money, replacing the four screens it used to take. Everything shipped since 3.0 has been built on it.
